We all love a great bottle of wine - we love the feel of a new bottle in our hands, we love the aromas that are unleashed when we pull the cork, and we love the sensuous new flavors that greet us when the first sip swills round our mouth.

Now imagine pulling another bottle out of the cellar - the dustiness of the bottle, the clearness of the wine within. But this isn't an expensive bottle from the store - this is the first of a batch you bottled 6 months ago, just finished aging.

And the experience will be just as spectacular! If you've followed a good guide on how to make homemade wine, your bottle will be just as good as last night's expensive one - except, however, you will have tailored it to exactly yours' and your loved ones' tastes!

And what's more, it'll taste even more delicious - because you made it.

And this is all so do-able! I knew nothing about making wine a few years ago, but now, all my friends and family love to drink the wine that I've made just for them. All it took was a little learning, and now I'm flying.

Sure, I fell into lots of pitfalls that you - of people you know - might've done so far, but that's learning! (although, if I'd joined a community of winemakers, I might've got through a little faster!)

But I tell you what, it was all worth it. Do put in that effort, because it will be rewarded hundredfold.
